2025 Region IV Regional Championship Information
The 2025 Region 4 Championship will take place April 3-6, 2025 in Duluth, GA.

Scroll down to see important information regarding registering for state championship in order to ensure your athletes are eligible to qualify to the 2024 Region VIII Championship.
By February 1, 2025 - must be entered as well as final level determination made.
Each club must enter their athletes for their respective state championship via the USA Gymnastics Meet Reservation System. It is imperative that your MASTER USAG CLUB ROSTER matches your state championship athletes levels.
Ensure that you have athletes listed as JE in USAG Meet Reservation that will be doing technical sequence at your respective state championship and regional championship
State Allotment numbers for Regional Championship will be based on numbers from the USA Gymnastics Meet Reservation System as of 2/ 1/ 2025
Athletes ENTERED by the deadline ARE ELIGIBLE to attend Region IV Championship at the level they are registered for the state championship.
Athletes that ARE NOT ENTERED by the deadline above ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to attend the Region IV Championship. A change in level after February 1st will also make the athlete NOT ELIGIBLE to attend.
Payment Information for each state championship will distributed by your state chairman / state championship host
Numbers from state championship entries in meet reservation by February 1st will be used to determine Region IV allotment to both Eastern Championship and Junior Development Championship
ALL PETITIONS TO THE 2025 REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO YOUR STATE CHAIRMAN AT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. No petitions will be accepted if sent directly to the Regional Chairman.
Petitions for all around only may only be submitted by the athlete's coach, and submitted petitions must meet protocol procedures and be fully documented for consideration. Petitions may only be submitted for athletes who are unable to compete at the qualifying competition due to injury, illness, or extenuating circumstance.
a. Coaches are responsible for submitting ALL required documentation for a petition to the State Chairperson before the competition begins. The State Chairman will then send all petitions to the Regional Chairman for evaluation and approval. Petitions will be very strictly evaluated. Petitions without the required supporting documentations will not be considered.
A completed petition must include the following information:

In the case of injury or illness, a statement from a physician (M.D. or D.O.) which clearly states the athlete is medically cleared to participate. Statements from non-physicians, i.e. athletic trainer, physical therapist, nurse practitioner, etc. will NOT be accepted;
Scores from two (2) USAG Sanctioned Meets during the 2024-2025 season -
If Petitioning for JE, Technical Sequence scores with a 36.00 or higher all-around plus optional scores
b. Petitions for athletes injured during a competition must be turned in to the State Chairperson by the conclusion of the event where the injury occurs (unless an emergency situation dictates otherwise). Documentation must be received by the State Chairperson within 48 hours of the conclusion of the event and must include the same documentation stated above.
c. Petitions must be turned in at the State Championship and petition athletes must pay for Regional Championship at the State Championship.
d. Petitions that are not approved will receive a refund.
